We arelooking for a practice nurse to join our supportive team in either a full time or part time role.

Youwill be joining an experienced team of 2 practice nurses, 1 lead nurse, 2phlebotomists, 1 HCA and 1 nurse associate
Weare open from 07:00-20:00 Mon-Fri , we would consider both part time and fulltime applications
Daily10am coffee meetings for the whole team to catch up
Fortnightlyeducational podcasts produced in hours by our GP team
6weeks annual leave plus bank holiday entitlement pro rata
Weare an expanding team, and you will be working alongside Dieticians, GPs,trainee GPs, Health & Wellbeing Coaches, First Contact Practitioners,Social prescribers, Pharmacy team and admin and reception teams
Main duties of the jobYour role would be to provide clinical care to our patients including childhood immunisations, vaccinations, wound care, cervical screening and health promotion. You will also help to support patients with chronic disease management, although the majority of our disease management is GP led.

Job responsibilitiesNurse procedures to include, but not limited to
- Management of wounds
- Routine injections as prescribed by GP team
- Child and Adult Immunisations
- Travel Immunisations
- Ear Syringing
- Cervical smears
- Chronic disease monitoring (diabetic checks/asthma reviews)
- Ideally someone with experience in Spirometry
- Registered Nurse with the NMC
- Previous experience of working with general practice
- A patient centred approach
- Ability to work well with both the nursing team and the wider practice team
- Previous experience of Emis
