The Practice Nurse - (this post offers sponsored ANP course) is located in Mitcham and is a part-time/permanent position of 19 hours per week. The successful candidate will be sponsored to complete the Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Prescribing course.
You will work alongside a friendly team of GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses and ANPs to deliver an exceptional standard of patient care and support.
Key responsibilities- Basic Practice Nurse duties
- Providing health promotional advice such as Smoking Cessation and Weight loss advice
- Managing the following clinical tasks:
- Asthma reviews
- Baby immunisations
- Diabetes
- Cytology
- Chronic diseases
- COOP reviews
- Spirometric tests
- Travel vaccinations
- B12 & other injections
- Care plans for dementia
- Elderly checks
- Enhanced DBS issued within the last year
- Relevant experience and qualifications
- Registered with NMC with a valid PIN
