Part-time Secondment Opportunity: 32 hours per week until 31 March 2026
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the NHS Fife Practice and Professional Development (PPD) Team. The role involves working closely with the Lead Practice Education Facilitator (PEF), Head of Department, and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to provide support, education, and development for clinical staff and students. The post-holder is expected to support staff and students in maintaining high standards of care by acting as a role model.
The successful candidate should be a Registered Nurse or Midwife educated to degree level (or equivalent). It would be beneficial if you also have or are working towards a postgraduate qualification in teaching or education; however, this is not an essential requirement. You should demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities. Good time management and organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently and within a team, are essential for this role.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is a condition of this post, and the successful applicant will be required to join the scheme prior to appointment.
As this is a secondment, please ensure you have your current line manager's approval before applying.
Interviews are anticipated to be held during the week commencing 25th August 2025.
Fixed Term/Secondment Details
Existing NHS employees must discuss this opportunity with their line manager. The secondment policy can be found here .
