PPA Teacher

Are you a passionate and energetic PE specialist looking for a part time role within a supportive primary school setting? A welcoming Catholic primary school in Kidderminster is seeking a confident and experienced PE PPA Teacher to work 3 days per week, starting in the new term and continuing until the end of the academic year.

This PE PPA Teacher role will involve delivering high quality PE lessons across Reception through to Year 6, covering teachers' PPA time. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate PE sessions that promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, and a love of sport.

As this role spans EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, previous experience working within a primary setting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging and structured PE lessons across Reception to Year 6.
• Planning and adapting lessons to suit a range of ages and abilities.
• Promoting physical development, teamwork, and positive participation.
• Ensuring lessons are inclusive, safe, and aligned with the national curriculum.
• Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders.
• Supporting pupils' physical, social, and emotional development through sport.

Qualifications

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS) or a relevant sports coaching qualification.
• Previous experience delivering PE within a primary school setting.
• Confidence teaching across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and professional approach.
• The ability to engage and motivate pupils of all abilities.
