  • Support balance-of-plant (BOP) systems, including switchgear, transformers, and fuel systems
  • Offer technical assistance with control system parameters and configurations
  • Review and verify layouts and designs for constructability and operational safety
  • Collaborate with OEMs, EPC contractors, and field teams to resolve issues and optimize system performance
  • Working on large gas engine platforms (e.g., CAT, Waukesha, Jenbacher)
Key Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in technical support roles within the power generation industry
  • Extensive electrical experience, including deep knowledge of switchgear systems
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and commissioning generator sets and associated systems
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control systems
  • Previous experience as a Power Generation Technician, Field Service Technician, Power Plant Technician, Gas Engine Technician, or Commissioning Technician.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to project and customer sites across the U.S.
