Power Electronics Design Engineer

B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is growing and thus welcoming a new Power Electronics Design Engineer in our automotive team.

As a Power Electronics Design Engineer at B.E.S., you will enjoy a collaborative environment where you will work closely with others in an organisation focused on innovation.

Your responsibilities :

• Explore innovative components for on-board chargers, DC-DC converters, and inverters
• Conduct technology scouting (literature & patents)
• Analyze and visualize technical trends (charts, roadmaps)
• Attend power electronics conferences and summarize key insights
• Collaborate with suppliers and evaluate new technologies
• Organize and participate in benchmarking campaigns
• Perform simulations and hardware evaluations of high-efficiency components

Your profile

• You have a Master of Science degree in (power) electronics, electrical engineering or mechatronics,
• You have a first experience
• You work with MS Office, any other software knowledge is a strong asset (Matlab, Simulink, Python, ).
• Fluent in English
• You have strong analytical skills, perseverance, autonomy as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
