This role requires a deep understanding of our data, and the ability to efficiently extract and transform it. We are seeking a Power BI expert who can push the boundaries of the platform, creating faster, simpler, and more robust solutions. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company's hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred Skills and Experience- Extensive commercial experience with Power BI.
- Strong data profiling, visualisation, and analysis skills.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into simple solutions.
- Extremely methodical, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring and query tuning.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Commercial experience with BigQuery, Strategy (MicroStrategy), GIT, and JIRA.
- Utilising Power BI and associated products such as DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, Visual Studio, Fabric, and SQL server.
- Delivering high-quality reporting, visualisations and data extracts to the Business.
- Developing reporting solutions that process, aggregate, and reconcile vast amounts of data into highly optimised solutions.
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of the Business data and KPIs.
- Analysing and troubleshooting poorly performing queries, reports, procedures, and batch jobs.
- Collaborating with the team members on multi-developer projects.
- Conducting QA to ensure code is accurate and performant.
- Suggesting and implementing improvements to streamline existing processes.
- Developing solutions in line with departmental standards.
- Taking responsibility for the creation and maintenance of relevant documentation.
