Role Overview: Portfolio ManagerThe Portfolio Manager will oversee a portion of the change portfolio, partnering with delivery and product teams to monitor performance, anticipate risks, and implement mitigation strategies. They will engage stakeholders at all levels, ensure clear communication, and support decision-making to strengthen governance and optimize outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide oversight and assurance across the change portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional activities, managing interdependencies and supporting proactive decision-making and risk mitigation.
- Oversee dependency management to optimize execution and minimize risks.
- Lead steering committees, facilitating insight-driven discussions for effective governance.
- Manage portfolio risks and issues, tracking themes and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Drive resource planning and forecasting to support strategic prioritization.
- Manage financial reporting, ensuring discipline through reconciliations, forecasting, and investment optimization.
- Utilize data and analytics to inform decisions and enhance outcomes.
- Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence within the portfolio.
- Ensure adherence to risk management frameworks and escalate concerns appropriately.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale portfolios in complex environments, with skills in delivery governance, financial management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications and Skills:- Professional certification and experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to align portfolios with business strategy to maximize value.
- Strategic thinking to anticipate future needs and risks.

- Effective time management and ability to work under pressure.
- Initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented.
- Proven influence with senior stakeholders and experience with portfolio management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of change risk, governance, and controls in regulated environments.
