Description

An excellent opportunity to join a tier one investment management firm in their global equities business.

The role will sit in the investment team and interact closely with the Portfolio Managers, assisting them with the management of their portfolios, focusing in particular on overseeing the implementation of a high volume of trades and monitoring multiple markets and events.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Day to day management of global equity portfolios
  2. Assist with cash management, hedging, fund flow notification, and client take-on procedures
  3. Liaise with the trading team to ensure timely and effective execution of the team's trades
  4. Monitor market events and ensure portfolios are adjusted accordingly
  5. Take a pro-active approach to help highlight and resolve process inefficiencies and assess risk
Requirements
  1. Relevant experience working in a portfolio management or trading environment, ideally for an asset manager
  2. Working knowledge of derivatives (futures, swaps, currency forwards)
  3. Degree educated, with a 2:1 or above in a numeric field
  4. Strong analytical skills, preferably with working knowledge of VBA
