Pool Assistant Longford Forest €14.35 per hour Keep guests smiling and safe As part of the Subtropical Swimming Paradise team, the Pool Assistant role plays an important part in supporting the Lifeguard team to provide a safe, enjoyable and well-managed environment for guests. What you'll be doing Deliver a safe operation on our iconic rides: Tropical Cyclone and Typhoon Supervising non-lifeguarded areas that require support Provide a friendly, professional customer service Maintain cleanliness and uphold health and safety standards Support with running our water-based activities Conduct regular water testing and sampling As part of the role you are required to complete Swimming Pool Emergency Response Award What's in it for you Free day passes and access to leisure facilities (including the spa) Discounts on breaks and in our shops and restaurants Bonus scheme and recognition rewards A supportive, friendly team Career development and in-role training Your working hours Full-time and part-time contracts, shifts fall between 7:30am and 8:30pm You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum amount of hours over a 4 week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays Free transport to and from work is available from Ballymahon and Longford Town for colleagues without access to their own transport Premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday About you Naturally cheerful and able to communicate effectively with guests Able to stay vigilant and calm under pressure Must be a competent swimmer, able to swim 25 metres on your front and back, retrieve an object from the pool floor and exit the pool unaided Note: You'll need to complete a Garda vetting before starting (we'll help with that).
