Responsibilities- Support the Director in developing and executing strategies to increase SSRN's visibility, recognition, and influence.
- Build, manage, and grow strategic partnerships with funders, industry bodies, and key organisations including society publishers.
- Contribute to SSRN's positioning as a trusted and recommended preprint server.
- Contribute to internal strategic projects to improve workflows, standards, and best practices.
- Support high impact initiatives, including AI led projects and policy implementation.
- Work cross functionally to improve discoverability and indexing (e.g. PubMed, Web of Science).
- Support the Director in identifying and progressing opportunities for global expansion, particularly in China and India.
- Liaise with analytics and processing teams to inform strategic decisions and progress.
- Experience in scholarly publishing or preprints.
- Strong understanding of policy, funder requirements, and the research ecosystem.
- Ability to build partnerships and influence external stakeholders.
- Experience contributing to strategic and cross functional projects.
- Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable driving initiatives independently.
