Police Entry Routes

• If you would like to be paid to study for a degree and work you can join on the apprenticeship route, 3 year probation (PCDA)
• If you have a degree you can join on the degree entry programme, 2 year probation (DHEP)
• If you have a Professional Policing Degree you can join via this route, 2 year probation (PPD)
• If you have no degree and no desire to study for a degree you can join our new Police Constable Entry Programme, 2 year probation (PCEP)

Welsh language skills

You will need to demonstrate starter level Welsh language speaking skills during the pre employment stage. Full support for this will be provided by ourselves. Please do not be discouraged if you are not a Welsh speaker as full support with improving your Welsh language skills is provided throughout your training.
