The post holder will assist in the delivery of podiatry in clinics, patient's homes and residential homes.
Implement individualised patient care plans as prescribed by a Podiatrist registered with the Health Care Professions Council, in clinics, patient's homes and residential homes.
Manufacture, finish and fit orthoses as prescribed by a podiatrist.
To be able to communicate with the public, professional and non-professional staff.
To have access to a suitable vehicle for work purposes.

Person Specification Qualifications and professional training- Basic level of education in maths and english
- Ability to undertake relevant foot care qualification where required
- NVQ Level 3 in foot care, equivalent qualification or equivalent relevant experience
- Understanding/willingness to participate in continued professional development
- Previous work experience in a health or social care environment
- Ability to manage own time and determine priorities
- Highly developed organisation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to unpredictable caseloads
- Have a flexible approach to work
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner
- Ability to empathise with others
