Why You'll Love It

We think this one will really suit a Podiatrist who wants more than simply a diary full of back-to-back appointments.

Our client has built a genuinely multidisciplinary approach around helping people not only get out of pain, but move better, become stronger and stay active for the long term. Podiatry sits as part of that wider clinical picture, alongside Physiotherapy, rehabilitation, manual therapy, gait analysis, Pilates and strength and movement services.

What we particularly like is the investment in the person behind the clinician. There is structured support, proper CPD investment and regular time for development, but you'll also be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the table and have a say in how the Podiatry service develops.

Add in a generous holiday allowance and some genuinely useful wellbeing perks, and there's a lot here to like.

All About You

You will need to:

  • Hold a recognised degree in Podiatry

  • Be registered with the HCPC as a Podiatrist

  • Be confident providing high-quality assessment and treatment across a varied Podiatry caseload

  • Have excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach

  • Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a wider clinical team

  • Be open to feedback, learning and continued professional development

  • Bring a positive, solution-focused approach to your work

  • Be comfortable contributing ideas and helping the service continue to develop

Our client is looking for someone who is passionate about Podiatry and takes genuine pride in delivering a high standard of patient care.

What Will You Be Doing?

You'll manage a varied Podiatry caseload, taking a holistic approach to helping patients resolve and prevent foot problems and remain comfortable and active.

Depending on patient need and your clinical experience, your work will include:

  • General Podiatry and routine foot care

  • Assessment and treatment of verrucae

  • Fungal nail assessment and treatment

  • Nail surgery

  • Biomechanical assessments

  • Providing appropriate treatment plans, advice and preventative care

  • Maintaining high-quality clinical records

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider multidisciplinary team

  • Contributing ideas and feedback to the continued development of the Podiatry service

Our client's wider clinical offering includes Physiotherapy, rehabilitation, manual therapy, gait analysis, Pilates and strength and movement services, creating opportunities for joined-up patient care rather than clinicians working away in their own little bubbles.

Working Hours and Environment

This is ideally a full-time position, although part-time applications will be considered from candidates able to offer a minimum of 32 hours per week.

Our client operates across three established clinics within the Wiltshire and Somerset area. Clinical team members may work across two or three clinic locations depending on their agreed working pattern and the needs of the service.

The clinics are modern, professional and designed around a multidisciplinary approach to health and movement, with clinicians working together towards the shared goal of helping patients reduce pain, restore movement and remain active.

Some flexibility around working hours may be required to provide appointments that suit patients, including availability outside traditional office hours.

Reaching Your Potential

This is one of the areas where we think our client does particularly well.

You'll receive a structured induction when you join, followed by regular one-to-one meetings, peer review with clinical leadership, in-service training and access to an external training budget tailored to your development needs.

Professional growth isn't treated as something that only happens when a CPD course crops up. You'll be encouraged to keep developing clinically, contribute to service-development discussions and bring forward ideas that could improve how patients are cared for.

You'll also be joining an established multidisciplinary healthcare business which has grown from its Physiotherapy roots into a much broader health and movement service. Today, its clinical offering brings together Podiatry, Physiotherapy, rehabilitation, manual therapy, gait analysis, Pilates and strength and movement, with a coordinated approach centred around helping people stay active throughout their lives.

For the right Podiatrist, there is plenty of scope to make your mark rather than simply inherit somebody else's way of doing things.

We will contact all shortlisted candidates. Please note that we retain the right to close the advert early if a suitable candidate is appointed. Employment offers are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks. Our client promotes diversity and equal opportunity.
