We're currently looking for a Full or Part Time Podiatrist in Wexford to relocate to Dublin to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in our Dublin clinics. The FTE for this role is €50,000-€77,000 per annum, with potential earnings of up to €100,000+ with commission.

Role and responsibilities- Treat a variety of skin ailments such as verrucae, corns, calluses, etc.
- Assess and treat ingrown toenails, clipping toenails and general feet tidy up
- Treat patients with diabetes at increased risk of foot disease who require preventative care and assistance
- Determine the condition of a patient's feet, ankles, or lower legs by reviewing medical history, listening to concerns, and performing a physical examination
- Diagnose foot, ankle, and lower-leg problems through physical exams and other methods
- Provide treatment for foot, ankle, and lower leg ailments, such as prescribing orthotics
- Give advice and instruction on foot and ankle care and on general wellness techniques
- Educate patients on how to improve conditions
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals to exchange information about patient progress; refer patients to other physicians or specialists when needed
- Meet continuous education requirements and maintain an up-to-date CPD folder
- Write patient case notes and reports, collect statistics; manage payments and issue receipts
- Place stock orders and log repairs
- In some cases, supervise student and junior podiatrists and enhance teaching skills
- Manage clinical risk and maintain excellent infection control awareness
- Be caring, compassionate and professional with the patient at the core of everything you do
- Help with creating blogs and content for social media and other marketing channels
- Work with the marketing team and provide on-the-ground feedback from time to time
- BSc OR MSc in Podiatry (essential)
- CORU registration (essential)
- Member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists Ireland (SCPI) (essential)
- Professional Indemnity Insurance (essential)
- Private practice experience (preferred)
