EIS Versilia is seeking a Podcast Instructor

Program: Afterschool Activities Starting: September 2025


Location: Versilia, Tuscany Part-time position

EIS Versilia is looking for a creative and tech-savvy Podcast Instructor to lead an afterschool workshop on podcasting and digital storytelling for students aged 11 to 14. The course aims to develop students' skills in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and media production through the exciting world of audio content.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach the fundamentals of podcast creation: planning, scripting, voice work, interviewing, recording, and editing;

- Introduce students to audio storytelling techniques, podcast formats, and real-world examples;

- Guide students in the creation of original podcasts on themes relevant to their interests and school life;

- Use tools such as Audacity, Soundtrap, Anchor, or GarageBand to record and edit episodes;

- Foster an inclusive environment where all voices are encouraged and respected;

- Showcase student work through school channels or special listening events.

Requirements:

- Background in media production, communication, journalism, education, or related fields;

- Experience working with youth in creative or educational settings;

- Familiarity with basic audio equipment and editing software;

- Spoken English (minimum B2, C1 preferred);

- Strong storytelling skills and enthusiasm for student voice and expression;

- Availability one or more afternoons per week from September 2025.
