Job Description
Lead PMO Manager, Senior Project Management Office Manager, 610 a day, with SC or DV Security Cleared required by our government services client based near Milton Keynes. Commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton, North London.

610 a day (umbrella)

Working in an SC Security Cleared environment. SC or DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance required, due to the urgency of the role, or you will be eligible to undertake clearance.

Skills and Experience

Experience of delivering projects/programmes to Government Project Management background

Experience working in Project Delivery/Project Management Office environment

Strong stakeholder management skills

Ability to communicate collaborate with others effectivelyWorking use of Microsoft Productivity Tools - MSPol, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint

Ability to analyse and continually improve high quality programme RAID artefacts, including delivery to senior stakeholders

You will lead the PMO,Planning Office and manage a highly motivated, high performing, efficient team that is empowered to deliver excellence

Support the Project Delivery Management Capability lead and Head of Delivery with monthly governance and reporting and ad hoc requests

Ensure adherence to programme governance, by maintaining Project Assurance Checks

Assist with the on-boarding off-boarding of resource, tracking status of security clearances

Maintain PMO governance frameworks, methodologies, and standards.

Provide senior reporting on portfolio health risks Drive process optimisation and maturity improvements across the PMO function.

Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.

Lead a team of planning and resourcing specialists; PMO managers Project Officers provide expertise on project management and planning Manager their work allocation and capacity

Ensure consistency of planning, including resource planning, and optimisation of project performance

Key Capabilities

Interpersonal skills, ability to build effective relationships across disciplines

Documentation skills, effectively using the full range of MS Office applications

Organisation and Maintenance of the PMO function, Folders and Artefacts and SharePoint site

Stakeholder management to ensure adherence to reporting deadlines
