Duties
Install, service, and repair heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and associated pipework.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary maintenance.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing fittings to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
Carry out basic carpentry tasks related to fitting heating components within various structures.
Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts utilised.
Assist with system assembly during new installations or upgrades.
Ensure all work complies with current building codes and safety standards.
Experience
Proven experience working as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role within the HVAC or plumbing industry.
Demonstrable skills in welding, carpentry, plumbing, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to heating systems installation and maintenance.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on-site.
Experience with commercial driving is desirable but not essential.
Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and technical documentation comprehension.
