Job Description

CPSS are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Playworker to join our team and support children in a safe, fun, and engaging environment. We require a playworker for a school based the Chelmsley wood area of Birmingham to work full or part time starting asap lay

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage children in play activities

  • Help plan and prepare age-appropriate activities

  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety procedures are followed

  • Support children's social and emotional development

Essential Requirements

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Playwork (e.g., Level 2/3 Diploma in Childcare, Playwork, or Early Years Educator)

  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Previous experience and Paediatric First Aid are desirable.
