Job Description

Hours per week: Weekly sessions on Friday evenings from 6-9pm, with additional training supplements and fixtures to be added to the delivery. Minimum of 3 hours per week.
Closing Date: Thursday, 17th July 2025
Vacancy Type: Casual contract until June 2026

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of FA Coaching Level 3/UEFA B qualification or a teaching qualification with at least FA Level 2/UEFA C, and experience working within the girls' football pathway. They must also hold a valid and in-date FA Safeguarding Children qualification and either Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAiF) or FA Emergency First Aid (EFAiF) qualification. A full driving license is preferable.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and inspire an environment where all players are welcome, encouraging potential through a systemic approach to identify emerging talent.
  • Create and deliver session plans to provide high-quality coaching to girls in U13-U16 age groups, aiming for the highest levels of performance in a safe, secure, and supportive environment.
  • Implement training and games programmes aligned with the Kent FA ETC curriculum, supporting coaches to ensure consistency.
  • Monitor player development and support players and coaches in creating relevant and achievable individual development plans following player reviews.
  • Maintain open communication with the clubs involved in the ETC to align player development both in-house and externally.
  • Collaborate with the centre manager to ensure players have the best experience to support their development across the FA's four corners.
  • Work with support coaches to provide a challenging football environment that meets the needs of all players.
  • Follow the Kent FA philosophy and ethos at all times.
  • Ensure continuous effective communication with all departments and stakeholders, including parents.
  • Adhere to the FA Safeguarding and Equality policies and procedures.
  • Comply with the FA and Kent FA ETC codes of conduct and data protection policies.
