Platform (SQL) Automation Engineer

As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest Financial Clients, I am seeking for a Platform (SQL) Automation Engineer for a position in Heerlen, Netherlands. You are (jointly) responsible for designing, developing and implementing robust Infrastructure-as-Code and automation solutions. In doing so, you contribute to a secure, scalable and highly automated SQL platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and automating the entire product lifecycle, from design to implementation.
• Capture procedures in reusable, automated workflows.
• Continuously improving processes and systems.
• Intensive collaboration with fellow engineers and other teams.
• Coaching and guiding team members in their development.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server DBMS is a plus.
• Experience with Windows Server environments.
• Experience with other programming languages such as Python, C# or Java is a strong plus.E
• xperience with CI/CD Pipelines is a plus.A
• completed higher professional or university education in the field of IT.A
• t least 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of automation.E
• xperience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, DevOps).K
• nowledge of and preferably certified in ITIL processes.A
• solution-oriented, positive-critical attitude.E
• xcellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
