Platform Engineer

Note: You must be based in Belgium or willing to relocate for the duration of the assignment which is minimum 1 year

Job Spec.

We are looking for a Platform Engineer who will play a key role in integrating third-party solutions and services into our Digital Asset Platform.

This is a hands-on role combining engineering, platform thinking, and integration expertise, with real impact on how our platform connects to the outside world.

YOU Must Have

• Strong experience in software engineering with focus on integration and APIs
• Solid knowledge of API design (REST, GraphQL) and event-driven architectures (Kafka, messaging systems)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC)
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience integrating third-party solutions, SaaS, or external services
• Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, API security, encryption, identity management)
• Ability to work with platform standards and architectural guidelines
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to debug complex integration issues

Nice to Have

• Experience with Digital Assets/DLT/blockchain platforms
• Familiarity with financial services or market infrastructure
• Experience with API gateways, service mesh, or integration platforms
• Exposure to DevSecOps and platform engineering practices
