# Plant Supervisor Job IntroductionAre you a future Plant Supervisor We are currently recruiting for a Plant Supervisor to join the fantastic Readymix 'RMX' team working on one of Europe's largest current infrastructure projects at one of our sites in the Banbury/Daventry area, situated on the border where 3 county's meet Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. Safety and operational standards are fundamental aspects of the role with cost control, people management, delivery to customer needs and performance improvement being key.The Plant Supervisor will be working within the RMX operations on our plant, working on plant compliance with business policies and procedures; ensuring legislative compliance is also a strong aspect of the role.Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the Plant Supervisor Delivery of toolbox talks Manage all aspects of daily production Take responsibility for your own safety and that of colleagues and business partners Maintain site housekeeping to a high standard Batch concrete to meet customer needs whilst meeting internal quality requirementsDue to the nature of the role we are open to accepting applications from candidates with limited experience as full training will be given to the right individual experience from within a similar 'heavy' industry would be advantageous but not essential.The role is a DAYS role where flexibility is 'key' as we also operate nights and weekends to meet our production needs - overtime available Experience in plant operations Previous experience of a Readymix / Aggregates environment Full knowledge of Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work Systems Working knowledge of production processes Working knowledge of H&S and Environmental policiesDESIRABLE Qualifications (but not essential) IOSH Managing Safely NVQ in fixed and mobile plant operationsFull training will be provided to the right candidate with a 'can do' attitude the willingness to learn.In addition to this role we also offer an extensive range of career development opportunities and industry-leading rewards, incentives and benefits including: Bonus scheme Enhanced holiday entitlement Contributory pension scheme Access to the Tarmac Reward website with discounts on retailers, holidays, etc. Access to our Employee Assistance helpline for free and confidential advice Access to join our Employee Communities (employee networks) we currently have nine communities inc.
