Plant Department Stores Person

What You'll Be Doing:

As a key member of our stores team, you'll help ensure materials are where they need to be-when they need to be:

• Creating purchase orders and managing goods inwards/outwards using company systems
• Receiving and checking deliveries for accuracy, quantity, and damage
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and updating systems in real time
• Storing materials efficiently and preparing items for collection and job allocation
• Carrying out regular stock checks and audits
• Keeping the stores environment clean, safe, and well organised
• Using in-house IT systems to manage stock and logistics
• Supporting with additional duties as required

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone who brings experience, reliability, and a strong eye for detail:

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar stores, yard, or logistics role (or equivalent)
• A solid understanding of health and safety best practices
• Comfortable using computers
• Methodical, organised, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational ability with keen attention to detail
• Able to prioritise tasks and manage a varied workload
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Able to meet targets in a busy, fast changing environment
