Key Responsibilities:- Come in and hit the ground running as the appointed planning partner.
- Oversee a team of talented planning lawyers, ensuring their growth and development.
- Provide expert guidance on a wide range of planning matters, from residential to commercial developments in both private and public sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure clients receive high-quality legal advice and representation.
- Collaborate closely with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
- Work closely with the partnership, especially the real estate team.
- Prepare a strategic business plan as part of the recruitment process, outlining your growth strategies and the overall plan for the planning team.
- Qualified solicitor with at least ten years PQE and a strong background in planning law in both private and public sectors.
- Ideally a current partner in a law firm seeking the next challenge.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage teams across multiple locations.
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills, committed to high ethical standards.
- Technically proficient in planning, highways, and environmental law.
