A highly regarded Planning & Environment team is seeking a Solicitor (up to 5 years' PQE) to support continued growth in Edinburgh.
This is an opportunity to work on high-quality, often high-profile matters across both contentious and non-contentious planning and environmental law.
The WorkYou'll advise a diverse client base including developers, energy companies and public sector bodies. Work includes:
- Planning applications, appeals and development strategy
- Renewable energy and infrastructure projects
- Residential and commercial development matters
- Planning disputes and litigation, including judicial review
- Environmental and regulatory advice
- Collaborative, inclusive and well-established team environment
- Exposure to complex, high-value and high-profile work
- Strong mentoring and structured development
- Clear and transparent progression opportunities
- Have up to 5 years' PQE in planning and/or environmental law
- Are commercially aware with a pragmatic approach
- Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team
- Are organised, proactive and solutions-focused
- Take pride in delivering high-quality work
Experience across both contentious and non-contentious planning matters is beneficial, but not essential.
