Projects will include those granted through the Development Consent Order/NSIP regime and major projects granted through either Section 36 (S36) or Town & Country Planning (TCPA). Project and opportunities are expected to be concentrated within the energy and infrastructure sectors. Oversees and communicates pipeline for P&EIA, including projects, proposals and prospects Leads growth of pipeline with focus on deliverability of current opportunities, recruitment of staff (including internal), client relationships, and proposal leadership Oversees resourcing of pipeline, working with P&EIA team and other disciplines to ensure delivery and avoid/communicate pinch points Works closely with Project Managers (PMs) and Project Directors (PDs) to set up and execute projects for successful delivery. Takes a PD role on some projects and opportunities Oversees consistency of approach including opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements Develops client and partner relationships Seeks opportunities for business development in line with pipeline and growth expectationsSkills and experience needed: Experience of post-consent delivery of NSIP/S36/TCPA projects, either client or contractor side Understanding or experience of NSIP pre-construction processes desirable Experience of working with contractors and external stakeholders desirable Working knowledge of the planning system and experience of working with planning authorities Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams Experience in leading large proposals Experienced Project Director
