About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive professional to join our Planning and Control (P&C) team within Assembly, Test, and Control Systems . You will report into the Manufacturing Manager and lead a team of 3 (2 Production Controllers and 1 Planner) to drive operational performance across our domestic manufacturing facilities.You will play a pivotal role in planning, supply chain, logistics, and inventory management, ensuring that production and service delivery meet business and customer requirements.Rolls-Royce is one of the most enduring and iconic brands in the world and has been at the forefront of innovation for over a century. What You Will Be Doing: Lead the P&C team to deliver on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance, manage arrears, inventory, and ERP compliance. Drive the Sales and Operations Planning process, creating balanced plans across capacity, resource, and inventory. Own the master schedule and ensure timely issue resolution, scenario modelling, and bottleneck mitigation. Manage inventory planning and budget, preventing surplus or obsolete stock and supporting financial planning cycles. Coordinate logistics processes, including third-party providers, energy management, and calibration services, ensuring service level agreements are met. Develop, coach, and lead the P&C team, ensuring competencies, development plans, and operational accountability are maintained. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in planning, production control, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Strong track record of delivering operational performance improvements. Experience in team leadership and development, with the ability to motivate and manage a small team. Proficient in ERP systems (SAP desirable), data analysis, and digital planning tools. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with external service providers. Understanding of health & safety standards, logistics, and manufacturing service accountabilities.
