Job Description
Integer is looking for a Junior Production Planner to support supply chain planning and production scheduling in a medical device manufacturing environment.
What you'll do in this roleYour day to day responsibilities include:
- Perform standard work assignments while developing proficiency in supply chain planning.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to create and maintain accurate production schedules.
- Execute daily and weekly production schedules based on order priorities and resource availability, coordinating with production to ensure smooth flow.
- Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and addressing production interruptions.
- Contribute to cross functional meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of key production parameters within the ERP system, including lead times, batch sizes, and manufacturing cycle time.
- Develop and oversee a production schedule by evaluating raw materials, equipment, shifts, and worker alignment.
- Report on production status and issues to SC leadership.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels for each product family.
- Recommend production schedule changes when necessary based on known constraints.
- Perform other duties as needed and directed by leadership.
- On Time Delivery - percentage of production orders or schedules completed within specified timelines.
- Schedule Attainment - alignment of actual production output with the planned schedule.
- Sales Order Backorder - volume of customer orders that cannot be fulfilled immediately due to insufficient inventory or capacity.
- Inventory Levels - inventory value and days on hand target based on Plan for Every Part analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is desired; alternatively, two years of relevant experience in supply chain management may be considered.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Experience with ERP systems; Oracle preferred.
- Working experience in a manufacturing environment (medical devices desirable).
- Ability to apply general business knowledge to process improvement.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Calm demeanor and positive, can do attitude in a fast moving environment.
- Proactive identification of innovative solutions to standard problems.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross functional teams.
- Commitment to maintaining safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including QMS, FDA regulations, and company policies.
