We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated person to join our team as a Planner.

The main office base for this role is County Hall, in the heart of beautiful Cardiff Bay. We also embrace the benefits of hybrid home-office working.

You will be provided with management and team support, flexible working arrangements, peer review, and skill sharing to help you succeed and develop professionally.

What We Are Looking For From You

You will be responsible for providing specialist heritage and conservation advice related to planning and listed building consent applications, pre-application proposals, and design brief documents. You will assist in the preparation and review of design policies and guidance, undertake conservation area reviews, and promote these to stakeholders. Additionally, you will offer advice on public realm, infrastructure, and heritage enhancement projects, and assist in enforcement functions related to the historic environment.
