Planner

Planner (Planning &Control) - Compression Systems

Full time position available in Derby or Washington. The role supports production planning, inventory control and operational performance across a network of manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Manufacturing Business Unit (MBU) Head of Planning.
• Ensure accurate reporting of MBU inventory and compliance with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) measures.
• Monitor adherence to financial inventory control processes and ERP compliance guidelines.
• Aggregate and analyse production and supply plans across 13 manufacturing facilities.
• Serve as point of contact for excess inventory applications across the MBU, ensuring appropriate approvals are in place.
• Provide planning support for ad hoc scenarios linked to demand changes.
• Liaise with planning and control teams across all 13 manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills - primarily Excel and SAP.
• Experience working in an operational manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of load and capacity planning.
• Experience with production scheduling, work in progress (WIP) management and inventory control.
• Knowledge of product introduction processes and their interaction with manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
