What will you be doing as our new Planner?
As our new Planner, you'll take ownership of the project plan, drive the project team to deliver on the plan, and challenge any delays or deviations. Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project plans for the Delivery Team in accordance requirements, ensuring methodology is consistently followed.
Ensure project plans capture the full scope and resources are appropriately considered and loaded.
Identify opportunities and risks proactively, monitor the critical path and milestones, and advise the delivery team on potential changes.
Create 4D animations of the project plan to facilitate digital rehearsals of construction activities.
Design and implement effective communication plans to ensure clarity and buy-in from relevant teams and stakeholders.
Maintain planning standards and ensure adherence to published processes.
Uphold Health & Safety standards in all planning activities, embodying the mantra: 'Nothing is so important that we cannot take the time to do it safely'.
Skills and Experience:
Demonstrable experience working on relevant projects within the Civil engineering sector, preferably in the Water Industry. Proficiency in P6 is required. Experience in leading collaborative planning processes and interpreting drawings to implement efficient planning services is essential. Strong communication skills to convey complex information to diverse audiences, even under pressure and tight deadlines, are crucial. You should be adaptable, innovative, and supportive to team members, enhancing the reputation of the Planning team within the business.
