Location: Norwich, with travel across Norfolk and North Suffolk.
Job Type: Full time, 40 hours per week, Permanent.
Starting salary: £41,030, with progression opportunities to £43,530 per annum, plus a company van and power tools.
About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Heating Engineer to join our West Local Delivery Team. This role ensures that repairs, servicing and breakdowns are carried out promptly, efficiently and to a high standard. It is key to maintaining our properties, providing excellent service to tenants and fulfilling legal obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work as part of the Planned Asset Operations Directorate, ensuring properties are maintained to required standards.
- Complete planned heating installations of gas, oil and renewable systems, delivering new boilers and systems efficiently and effectively.
- Carry out installations in accordance with association procedures and the latest regulations.
- Manage and prioritise own workload on a day to day basis, balancing the planned programme and day to day scheduled work.
- Support reactive works and provide assistance when needed.
Successful candidates will have:
- Experience as a qualified Heating Engineer.
- Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, UVHWS and EEDH, and Gas Safe registration.
- Experience in Social Housing, including renewable heating systems (ASHP, Solar Thermal, HR and MVHR) and BPEC level or equivalent accreditation.
- IT literacy, excellent communication skills, good literacy and numeracy, and a valid driving licence.
- Essential: DBS Check.
