Placing Broker - CRI

I am working with a well-respected global insurance brokerage who are seeking a Placing Broker with 2-3 years' experience in the Credit & Political Risk (CPR) insurance market. The role offers the opportunity to further develop expertise in structuring and placing insurance solutions for banks, corporates, and investors. The successful candidate will support senior brokers in managing transactions, build strong relationships with clients and underwriters, and contribute to the team's continued growth in this specialised field.

Responsibilities Client & Market Engagement

• Act as a supporting point of contact for client accounts, handling day-to-day placement activity.

• Build and strengthen relationships with CPR underwriters, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

• Assist senior colleagues in managing client requirements and delivering high-quality service.

Placement & Transaction Execution

• Prepare, review, and update submissions, placing slips, and policy documentation.

• Support the structuring, negotiation, and placement of CPR solutions under guidance from senior brokers.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions and client deliverables.

Market Knowledge & Business Development

• Stay informed of global political, economic, and financial trends affecting credit and political risk.

• Contribute to client presentations, proposals, and new business pitches.

• Provide research and analysis to support business development initiatives.

Operational & Compliance

• Ensure all activity complies with internal procedures, regulatory frameworks, and market standards.

• Maintain accurate records of placements, client activity, and insurer engagement.

• Support team reporting and portfolio reviews.
