Job description:
Independently plan, execute, and document formulation development and scale-up activities in a pilot plant environment
Perform small-scale manufacturing for field trials, testing, and process improvement initiatives
Prepare raw materials and operate, configure, clean, and maintain laboratory and pilot plant equipment
Ensure full compliance with HSE, quality, and hygiene standards; proactively identify and address unsafe conditions
Contribute to process risk assessments and support safety-related initiatives (e.g. audits, best practices)
Accurately record, analyze, and communicate experimental and manufacturing data
Collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to define and execute development trials
Identify and implement process, equipment, and product improvements
Perform first-line troubleshooting and maintenance; escalate technical issues when needed
Support and guide junior staff or new team members when required
Work flexibly across laboratory and pilot plant environments depending on project priorities
