Band 7 Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, Neurorehabilitation,

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic , experienced neuro Physiotherapist to provide clinical leadership across our Neurorehabilitation bed base and Early Supported Discharge service across Doncaster and Rotherham

Main duties of the job

As Clinical Lead Physiotherapist you will work alongside Team leaders and other clinical Leads to provide clinical leadership across the bed base and Early Supported Discharge Service. You will help with the triage, planning, prioritisation and review of referrals into the services, problem solving with the team any potential bottlenecks or issues with meeting service delivery targets to optimise patient flow.

Job responsibilities

Person Specification Skills and Knowledge
  • Physiotherapy assessment and intervention principals and practice
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology relating to clinical area
  • Knowledge of risk management and health and safety
  • Empathetic when dealing with emotional situations and giving sensitive information
  • Knowledge of organisational structures and relationships in health and social care
  • Ability to take strategic view for long term service improvements
Qualifications
  • HCPC registration
  • Post graduate education to master's level or equivalent relevant to clinical speciality
Experience
  • Demonstrable post registration of clinical practice within physiotherapy practice
  • Experience working in an NHS multi-professional setting
  • Participation in clinical audit and evaluating the outcomes of a service
  • Working to demonstrate autonomy in developing treatment plans, assessment, discharge planning for patients with complex care needs
  • Experience of supervising others
