Our trusted team members operate in more than 130 sites, ranging from residential care HIQA-registered facilities to post-acute rehabilitation centers. We also provide bespoke services in the acute private hospital setting and within clients' homes.
Due to significant business growth, we are currently looking to employ a Physiotherapist to join our team in Limerick. As a growing company this is an exciting time within the business with excellent opportunities for those joining us.
We offer a flexible approach to working, this can include weekends or evenings if preferred, with a generous hourly rate of pay. We have both part-time and flexi hours opportunities available. Our team of health and social care professionals works seamlessly across varying locations providing services within elective orthopedic, post-acute rehabilitation, medical inpatients, and musculoskeletal outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities- Completing thorough and detailed patient assessment, using appropriate clinical techniques and equipment.
- Recording information in line with ISCP/AOTI guidelines and as per local policies and procedures.
- Close working with the MDT, including referring consultants, to ensure specific protocols are agreed and actioned.
- Delivering evidence-based intervention / treatment to all patientswithin the identified patient cohorts
- Providing appropriate advice based on the patient's medical, social and cultural circumstances.
- Develop and deliver treatment plans, assisting and enabling patients to achieve their treatment goals and targets.
- Maintaining accurate, comprehensive, contemporaneous electronic patient records in line with ISCP/AOTI standards of practice.
- CORU Registration
- 0-2 years post qualification experiance desirable
- Experience in physiotherapy/occupational therapy with clinical experience in elderly care, inpatient acute medical care or elective orthopaedics preferred (but not essential).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have own transport, a clean driver's license, and a smart phone.
