Physiotherapist - MSK (Bank)

Salary: Up to £18.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification).

The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

Applicants must be able to travel to the sister site - The Shelburne Hospital in High Wycombe - for dual site working.

We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join their team in the Physiotherapy department.

This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis; you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic, or post surgical conditions (dependent on setting).
  • Formulate individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
  • Use a range of therapeutic techniques, exercise programmes, manual therapy, and patient education to promote recovery and prevent further injury or deterioration.
  • Collaborate closely with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds, and discharge planning as appropriate.
  • Refer patients to other services where required (e.g., hydrotherapy, pain management, or community rehabilitation).
  • Manage your own caseload efficiently, working flexibly across inpatient and/or outpatient settings as required.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
  • BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Good clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment planning skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
