Job Title: Physician's Assistant - Interventional Pain Management (Part-Time, 3-4 Days/Week) Location: Eastern North Carolina, Greenville, Wilson, Goldsboro Practice Type: Interventional Pain Management Schedule: Part-Time (3-4 days/week)
Job Description: We are a well-established, patient-focused interventional pain management clinic seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician's Assistant (PA) to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider with prior experience in pain management who is looking to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on improving quality of life for our patients.
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting post-procedural follow-up evaluations to ensure optimal patient recovery and outcomes
Providing safe and effective opioid management, including patient assessments, prescription monitoring, and compliance with current regulations, urine drug screen interpretation
Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with the interventional pain physician
Prescribing medications in accordance with best practices and clinic protocols
Opportunity to perform or be trained in trigger point injections and Botox injections, based on experience and interest
Preferred Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Physician's Assistant license in North Carolina
DEA certification with Schedule II-V authority
Previous experience in a pain management or interventional spine clinic strongly preferred, but not required. History of primary care beneficial
Knowledge of safe opioid prescribing guidelines and familiarity with state-specific monitoring programs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
