Job Description
Your Tasks

We expect you to

  • Work towards a doctoral thesis (Dissertation) on a topic within the project, ideally with a social science genetics focus
  • Write academic papers in English and present your work at national/international conferences
  • Analyse existing data using advanced statistical methods such as growth and structural equation models in R, Stata, and/or Mplus
  • Have a keen interest in genetically-informed developmental psychology, including learning to apply molecular genetic methods to understand origins of individual differences in development
  • Contribute to the broader aims of the project in collaboration with other team members
  • Contribute to public engagement efforts of the project team
  • Mentor BSc and Master students and contribute to teaching and supervision tasks of the department
Your Profile
  • Completed Master's degree in psychology or a related field
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, and ideally also in German
  • Excellent statistical and writing skills
  • High level of independence combined with interpersonal skills to collaborate with other team members
