Brief DescriptionRH15 8UA We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.
Qualifications Required- GCSEs at A C or 4 9 or equivalent in Maths and English
- A keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- The willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
- Previous experience in the pharmacy industry or similar
Pharmacy Technician (Integrated) Level 3
Future ProspectsAn apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. Potential for full time employment on successful completion of the apprenticeship. Transferable skills that are invaluable in the wider world of work.
Key responsibilities- Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
- Providing person centred advice to patients on prescription and over the counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
- Supporting the day to day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
- Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
- Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
- Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback
Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (equivalent to A level). On successful completion, you will be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Training delivered through a blended learning approach alongside your job.

Pay: £9.50 PER HOUR
Additional Requirements- Based within 30 minutes of the pharmacy (please indicate if you can drive)
- Experience preferred but not essential
