Pharmacy Technician - Hickeys

Position

Pharmacy Technician at Hickey's Finglas West. 40 hour (5 day) permanent position. Store opening hours 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Closed on Sunday.

Team

Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief Pharmacist, 5 Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or higher certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.
