Apple Pharmacy - Craigend is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join its friendly and professional team.

Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will assist with dispensing prescriptions, maintaining stock, supporting patients, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will:
- Assist in preparing, labelling, and dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Provide friendly customer service and answer routine patient enquiries.
- Refer complex medication queries to the pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and telephone enquiries.
- Follow pharmacy regulations, confidentiality requirements, and health and safety procedures.
- Keep dispensing areas clean, organised, and compliant with professional standards.
Applicants should have:
- At least 1 year of pharmacy experience (required).
- A dispensing qualification is desirable, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good organisational and time management abilities.
- Basic IT skills and experience using pharmacy or office software (knowledge of Analyst PMR is an advantage).
- An understanding of pharmacy legislation and professional standards in Scotland.
