As a Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior, you'll manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance while building trusted relationships and providing an excellent level of service.
Your responsibilities will include:- Preparing and reviewing self assessment tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Managing personal tax compliance, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Liaising directly with clients to resolve tax queries and provide practical advice.
- Supporting senior colleagues with tax planning projects where appropriate.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Assisting with HMRC correspondence and enquiries.
- Keeping up to date with changes in UK personal tax legislation.
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice in a personal tax role.
- ATT qualified, studying towards ATT/CTA, CTA qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK personal tax compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
