Personal Tax Semi Senior Stockport £26,000 - £32,000 DOE (+ Study Support)

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established and highly regarded independent firm of chartered accountants in Stockport who are looking to recruit a Personal Tax Semi Senior to join their growing Private Client Tax team.

• Preparing and submitting Self Assessment tax returns for a varied portfolio of individuals
• Assisting with the management of private client portfolios and ensuring all deadlines are met
• Preparing Capital Gains Tax calculations and supporting tax planning assignments
• Assisting with Inheritance Tax matters and estate administration where required
• Liaising directly with HMRC regarding client queries and tax matters
• Supporting senior members of the tax team with advisory projects
• Building strong and lasting relationships with private clients

• Previous experience working within the Personal Tax department of a UK accountancy practice
• Experience preparing Self Assessment tax returns
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
• Ambitious individual looking to develop a long-term career in Private Client Tax
