We are seeking a Personal Tax Assistant to join the tax team at a growing firm in Hitchin. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their career in tax, providing exposure to a diverse client base and the chance to work closely with senior team members.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the preparation of personal tax returns.
• Manage client information effectively.
• Support the Tax Director and Personal Tax Seniors with both compliance and advisory tasks.
• Progressively assume greater responsibility for managing your own portfolio of clients.
• Maintain high standards of work and contribute actively to the team's objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ideally ATT part-qualified or aspiring to start studying towards this qualification.
• Experience in a tax or accounting environment is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach to learning and development.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
