Personal Injury RTA Associate Lawyer

Overview

Due to continued growth, this highly respected law firm is looking to hire an Associate level lawyer (circa 5 PQE) to join their personal injury team based in Glasgow.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with client, third parties and solicitors, keeping clients up to date with the progression of their cases, updating reports and dealing with correspondence,
• Dealing with all types - Fast track and Multi-track cases.
• Reviewing all evidence and establishing prospects of success
• Reviewing and valuing injury claim
• Preparing witness statements
• Drafting Court proceedings
• Drafting various relevant court documents
• Reviewing and valuing credit hire and other special damage
• Complying with court directions
• Dealing with applications and court hearings
• Negotiating settlement

Qualifications

• Solid background in personal injury and ideally with experience of RTA.
• You should have excellent communication skills and be looking join an ambitious and growing law firm.
• Experience of mentoring junior lawyers would be an advantage but not essential.
