Job Description

Personal Assistant / Lytham St Annes Area / REF : LILS/LM/RG

Hours: up to 14 hours per week, or willing to consider job share.

Rate: £14 per hour

We are seeking a creative, kind, and reliable Personal Assistant with good attention to detail to support an artistic and imaginative client who is looking for someone with similar interests and a positive outlook on life.

This is a rewarding role focused on supporting with daily living tasks, companionship, encouragement, and enabling the client to maintain independence while accessing their local community and pursuing activities they enjoy.

About the Role: You will support the client with daily living tasks such as cooking, keeping the home clean, making local connections, and attending community activities and events.

The client particularly enjoys outdoor swimming and attending choir, and would value someone who shares or appreciates creative and artistic interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing companionship and social support
  • Supporting access to local community activities and events
  • Encouraging independence and confidence
  • Supporting planning and organisation of weekly activities
  • Support with light domestic tasks, including:
    • Batch cooking vegetarian meals
    • Occasional shopping
    • Cleaning and laundry
About You
  • A person with good attention to detail and an understanding of individual needs
  • A good communicator with a friendly, patient approach
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing needs (by mutual agreement)
  • Kind, respectful, and supportive of independence
  • Creative or artistically inclined (desirable)
Additional Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Comfortable driving the client's mobility vehicle for outings
  • Household has 2 friendly cats so must be comfortable around cats.
