Role Overview

At Enable, Personal Assistants (Support Workers) play a key role in making a positive difference in the daily lives of those we support. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to help individuals achieve their goals and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, moving, handling and behavioural support.
• Expand their social networks and connections through varied activities.
• Work collaboratively with a bespoke support team to ensure safety, well being and aspiration goals are met.

About the Service

Stravaig is an emergency homeless accommodation service for young people aged 16 to 25, offering 9 rooms with en suite facilities and shared communal areas (lounge, dining room, games room, laundry). Meals are provided and can cater to dietary preferences. The programme's purpose is to provide a safe, nurturing and stable environment, with stays typically lasting 12 weeks to help residents prepare for independent living.
