Our client is look for a personal assistant who can join them in various social activities. Our client is very active and has competed for Scotland in bowls as well as taken part in and won several dance competitions. Our client requires the use of a manual wheelchair and will require support with this. Our client does have leg spasms so awareness of this is required to keep our client safe in the wheelchair. On rare occasions our client may need assistant with Personal Care.
Duties will vary but will include general tenancy support. You will also need to be able to assist with phone calls and be able to relay the information clearly. Our client enjoys a range of things including bowling, sailing and bingo.
You must be a team player who can be flexible around hours with a willingness to help with sick and holiday cover when needed is preferable. Our client has a good sense of humour and ability to chat about a range of subjects, so you must enjoy a good chat.
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
